Trials of a New Life

"I uh...." Sally blushed. "We do seem a little.. o-obsessed with it now," she confessed. "And why would I be scared, she's our daughter!" She pulled Jenny in tighter. "Never pretend, we both know how dark we are."

Jenny smiled and kissed Sally. "I blame your funky hair." She pulled Sally on the bed for once not trying to undress her.

"I know she is your daughter but still her powers could harm you so I'd understand if you were a bit worried. Hey wait I'm not dark I burn brightly." Jenny giggled.

Sally couldn't help but laugh. "Yes my hair has insidious mind powers that make us want to fuck all the time!" She lay on the bed, just relaxing for now. "Could she harm me, yeah. But I'm not worried about it. I know she won't ever." Sally looked up to Jenny and smiled. "Never stop burning!"

"What happened to the shy little virgin I met a few days ago in Egypt? She would never have said it like that." Jenny mumbled her eyes half closed next to Sally on the bed. "Flame is always on." Jenny was fighting it but after a day like this she couldn't stop herself from falling asleep.

"She met you and got a taste for it," smiled Sally, though she was blushing deeply that she'd been so casual. She wasn't feeling as sleepy as Jenny, but put her arms around her girlfriend to hold Jenny as she slept. "I'll guard your flame while you sleep," she whispered.

"Gwandwa? Iws thwa' ya? Thwis iws Hweddie. How dwo I get bweakfwast? Mwma awn' Mwommy awe stiww asweep." Hettie had taken Jenny's phone went in her room and called Mark... yes it was just after 6AM. "I hwungwy bu' mwoms awe sweepin'. Cwan I cwome to youw hwouse to eawt?"

"Hettie? What? You're up early," groaned Mark as he sat up in bed. "You called me instead of walking your parents?" he added surprised.

"I don' 'now. Gwandwa I hwungwy, how dwo I gwet fwood?" Hettie giggled. "Mwoms awe aww snwug uwp awnd tawk wong wast nwight."

"I can come across with some snack if you want, to keep you going till breakfast," said Mark. "And how do you know they were talking for a long time."

"Cwan' I cwome to ya? Thwewe iws a bwus. I hweawd thwem. Pwease Gwandwa?" Hettie begged while she was looking for clothes to put on. "Ow I cwan hwot wiwe aw caw awnd dwive."

"What, no!" Mark was pretty much running to his own car at this stage. "Sorry kiddo, but your too young to take the bus alone, or drive."

Hettie sighed theatrical and threw herself back on her bed. "Otay, bwut huwwy. I wan bwacon. Bwut dwon'd wakwe Mwama and Mwommwy. Wuv ya Gwandwa. Ya thwe bwest."

"I'll pick up some bacon rolls then kiddo. And I'll knock really quiet on the door when I get there. Love you too kid!" Mark was smiling as he got into the car.

Hettie hung up and looked around. She was bored waiting so she got dressed, took her manuals and went through her moms room out into the hall. She would wait for Granda right in the lobby.
She was lying on a bench just outside humming happily while reading the best books in her life.

The smell of bacon rolls filled the corridor as Mark stepped out of the list.

"Couldn't wait inside the room could you kid?" he asked with a smile.

Hettie grinned widely and hugged Mark tightly. "Cwan wee dwo swomefing?"

In the meantime still in the hotel room. Jenny was rolling on the other side deep asleep, mumbling loudly without waking.

"How about you eat your bacon roll first then we'll see," said Mark hugging back with his free arm.

Hearing Jenny mumbling Sally was starting to stir.

Hettie was barely chewing her offered breakfast. "I wuv ya Gwandwa. Cwan wee gwo bwuiwd a wobot? Wook I mwade thwis plan." Hettie showed Mark a drawing... a rather good and descriptive drawing of a robot.

Jenny felt that something had changed but she was too tired to think about it more. Still asleep she searched Sally to snuggle up closer with her... not that that was even possible Jenny had already wrapped her arms around Sally.

"Wow, these are really detailed," said Mark impressed as he looked them over. "Did you do them yourself? No help from your Moms?"

Sally smiled as Jenny moved, planting a kiss on her cheek.

Hettie giggled. "Mwama cwan't mwake iwt. Aww mwe."

Jenny groaned."Not yet. Few more minutes."

"She can't? Wait, which one are you meaning?" asked Mark.

"You've got until Hettie bursts through the door," whispered Sally.

"Mwama!" Hettie looked confused at Mark, she didn't understand why he didn't know who she was talking off. "Thwe owne wif fiwe, wike mee."

Jenny kept her eyes shut. "It is too early." She was wondering if Hettie was still asleep, when suddenly she sat up. "Hettie isn't in her room! I can't feel her in her room." Jenny tried not to sound like she was panicking but she somehow was. "She... she couldn't have walked out of her room or somebody... or er the people you hung out with? They can't catch up yet where you are or heard about Hettie!"

"Do you call both of them Mama?" Mark asked curiously.

"She's gone? Where?" asked Sally clearly in a panic. "The other's can't know about us or her yet!" Taking deep breaths she tried to calm. "She.. she probibly just went to the parking lot to look at the cars..."

Hettie giggled. "Ya siwwy Gwandwa. Nwo thewe iws Mwama awnd Mwommy. Why ya awskwin' thwis aww? Dwon't ya 'now?"

Jenny more fell out of bed than got up when she tried to figure out what to do or where to go. "Fuck we need to put a cat bell on this girl! Or you shout micrichip her like a dog with a GPS signal included." Jenny accutally stopped and checked if she was dressed before she ripped open the room door and then she screamed in shock.

"Oh shit, Dad!" She took a deep breath she had words in mind to say to Hettie but seeing the little girl smile with breakfast in her hand and the manuals spread out around them.

"And we found the missing geniuous. A note would be nice Hettie, what time is it anyway?" Jenny sat down next to Hettie and bit in her bacon roll.

"I call them Jenny and Sally!," said Mark. "Otherwise it would be confusing!"

"I thought you could track her with your fire sense?" said Sally following Jenny out while pulling out a top.

Mark looked up surprised. "You're awake already? Huh, your girlfriend must be a light sleeper for you to be awake THIS early"
