"Are you serious?" Georgina raised her eyebrows. "While Lenna is hiding somewhere you're thinking of checking out lady's lingerie?"

"Well, actually I was hoping you'd try some on", Rome replied with a playful smile.

"I have to disappoint you, honey, but I've already been to the store and bought something." She held up a Victoria's Secret bag.

"Too bad..." He grabbed some of her bags without her permission and turned around. "Let's bring those to my car and then get back to find that little brat."

That was actually a good idea because Georgie was kind of tired of carrying them around. As a shopaholic she had no difficulties running around with shopping bags for hours, but today was different because Elenna had mentally worn her out.
When the two reached the parking lot Georgie immediately spotted Rome's Ferrari from a distance because it was definitely the most expensive car - and she had a good eye for expensive things.

"She's a smart one...", Georgie mumbled.

"Hm?"

"Lenna! Coming up with some sort of Scotland yard game..." She looked at her reflection in the window of Rome's car, checking if her hair wasn't a mess. "I mean, how did she come up with that anyway?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "That's Lenna." He opened the trunk of his car to put the shopping bags in, however, stopped for a brief moment and looked up at Georgie who was still fixing her hair. He flashed her a smile. "Is there any chance I can convince you to show me what you bought?" He held up the Victoria's Secret bag.

((I know you don't like writing this stuff, MissA Wink so I took the liberty of moving the scene forward immediately. Time to de-stress! Razz ))

Rome flinched as her hand came at him again, expecting another blow, but, to his surprise and delight, she snatched the bag from his hands and let herself into the Ferrari.

Rome had to bite the inside of his lip to not make a stupid 16-year-old little gasp of score! and he definitely had to exercise physical control in case that wasn't as blatant an invitation as he hoped it was.

The windows were heavily tinted, much to his disappointment as he waited, trying to make leaning impatiently against his car with a half-mast look cool.

She rapped twice on the window when she was ready, and although it was hot inside the car, it was about to get hotter, if you know what I mean. They wasted no time testing out the Ferrari's shocks. For a few moments, at least, Elenna was the last thing on their minds.

This was the best kind of stress relief.

Willow had got for Lenna another chocolate milkshake and cheeseburger, like she hadn’t eaten enough today.
Lenna checked her watch, just two more hours and then she had to sneak to the Barbie-mobile. This time she would win the game. Next time Georgie would do a shopping tour she would pay attention when it was enough for Lenna. Not that she didn’t have fun with Georgie but it would have been nice if Lenna wouldn’t have to feel so poor next to Georgie. She wasn’t a hunter that had a golden credit card and could buy a pair of socks for $100 or got starved until she felt dizzy. The next shopping trip should be a bit more equal between the two girls. That’s all Lenna wanted.

Come and get me, I am where everything started Razz

The young girls pressed the send button and hoped Georgie would understand her text message. Lenna got changed, she was now wearing the dress Georgie picked earlier for her and was sitting on the hood of Georgie's precious car. She was still reading Twilight and couldn't stop laughing. It turned out to be the best day in a long time. She had unlocked the car (not that she had a key for it, but hey she is a hunter keys are something for normal people) and music was blarring.

Lenna was grinning and happy she won the game, and she did hope Georgie wasn't too mad after all she did let Willow put on some makeup and fix her hair to look like a girl, and hey she was wearing a friggin dress with high heels.

For the first time since Elenna disappeared Georgie did not think about inventive methods how to kill her young friend for running away and playing games with her. Well, she hadn't really planned that she would end up on the backseat of the Ferrari with Rome either, but at least it was a nice distraction...until she heard horrible music blasting out from somewhere. She tried to ignore it at first, but that was just as hard as ignoring a person who wore pink and orange together- something like that is just impossible to ignore! And so was the annoying music. Rome didn't seem to notice at all, but Georgie got tenser with every second, and that he noticed.

"What is it?" He looked at her for a brief moment.

"The music..."

"What music?"

"That annoying music from outside!"

"So? Ignore it!" He was about to continue when she covered his mouth with her hand, something he certainly hadn't expected.

"I heard something!" Georgie held her breath for a second while Rome mumbled something behind her hand. "Pssst! Don't breathe!"

"You want me to die?", he mumbled sarcastically.

"I swear I heard my cell phone." She sat up straight, searching both for her clothes and purse. Her luxurious bag was on the front seat, and when she took the bag and grabbed her cell phone she sighed. "Oh, you little brat!"

"Are you talking about me?" Rome asked with a grin.

"No!" Georgie rolled her eyes. "Lenna! I know where she is. She sent me a message."

"That's too bad." Rome ran his fingers through his hair. "We haven't even really started yet and...what are you doing?!" He grabbed her arm before she could open the door.

"What? I'm going to get out there and..."

"Naked?"

Georgie blushed. She was so distracted by Lenna's message that she almost forgot to throw something on before leaving the car. Rome chuckled, and she struck him with her elbow in his ribs. "Not funny!"

You've got to be kidding me! Rome thought as he watched his hopes and dreams of the moment getting dressed. He pouted heavily as she showed no signs of being kidding, hoping she would take pity on him. He had been this close to going 2 for 2!

So unfair.

He pinched his thigh viciously and cleared his throat, struggling to refocus and trying to assess whether he could back out of this one with his dignity intact or whether he had a physical issue to take care of himself. "Uh. What? She's where now?" He tried not to add, Does it matter? or Can't she wait fifteen minutes?

He also resigned his near future to the task of making sure Georgie didn't kill Elenna.

He wanted that pleasure now.

Lenna giggled she was reading. She had tried to updated Bobby about everything what happened but when she called him she just got his voice mail. She didn't felt like telling him everything there. She would call him back later, maybe better when she knew how to put everything that it doesn't sound to dangerous.

We had a skinwalker (which included them getting a new team), a djinn, the crazy ghost of my brother, a crossroad demon and a god. A real proper Greek friggen god. That was a crazy month.

Thinking of Bobby reminded her that she had to read the newspaper of Sioux Falls. She always did to know what was going on around Bobby. Lenna checked her phone again, so far Georgie hadn’t answered. Maybe she didn’t got her text?

I give her another couple of minutes, and then I write Rome.

She went back to her book.

While Georgie got dressed enormously fast she did notice Rome's obviously disappointed face expression, and she couldn't resist to smile because he looked like a kid whose ice cream has been taken away. Suddenly they heard the sound of a cell phone, this time it was Rome's. He quickly took a look at it, frowning.

"It's Lenna. She sent a message."

"What is she saying?"

He read her message out loud. "Hey Rome, any chance you can save me from all that pink?" He cleared his throat. "Oh, I will help you just fine for disturbing us, don't worry..."

"Okay, she's definitely at my car", Georgie said, then she turned towards the door. The same moment she felt Rome's hand at her arm again. "What? I'm fully dressed!"

"Yeah, unfortunately... Before you get out there, promise me two things", he said and a grin appeared upon his face.

"And what's that?" Georgie looked at him in expectation.

"Please don't kill Lenna outright, I want to have a turn."

"Well, that's kind of hard but I'll try to hold myself back a bit...What's the second one?"

"After we hide her corpse somewhere we continue where we left off. Deal?"

Georgie raised her eyebrows. "Deal." She opened the door of the car. "Come on, we have a witch to catch."

Lenna had put her book next to her on the car hood. She was glad Rome had showed her how she could access Bobby’s homepage (which looked like he is writing stories when he is posting hunting facts and news on hunters) on her phone. But she didn’t like what she read. It was half a page with a large picture of her.

Summer Roberts wasn’t understood as a child because she was too smart for her own good. Her parents left her too early in her life and when her life finally seemed to turn normal her brother got taken by a monster. She could have given up then, but she didn’t. Elenna was a strong girl and she chose to keep fighting. When I met her, we became family instantly. I never wanted her to start hunting but she was a natural. And she was stubborn as hell. When her time came, she died on the job with honor. Not many knew her, but the few that did will miss her dearly. She brought light into every life she touched, and goes now to rejoin her family. Rest in peace, Summer Roberts.

“What? No I’m…”

Lenna looked at her phone too shocked to know what to do; she suddenly didn’t like the trick she played on Georgie. And even more she wished she wouldn’t wear this stupid dress. From the car blared song after song, right now it was Sk8ter boi. A song she liked a lot. She starred pale at her phone. Not that she would tell anyone about this, at least not now.

Pull yourself together Fee!

Georgina didn't care if she was the reason for almost causing a couple of car crashes on the parking lot in front of the shopping mall. She rushed across the parking lot without even looking if cars where about to hit her. Although she forgot where exactly she had parked her car, she followed the music that she assumed was the music Elenna usually listened to.

"Hey, G!", she heard Rome somewhere behind her. "You might watch out a litte, in case you haven't noticed: two cars almost crashed into each other because they tried not to run over you."

"So what? Let them run over me, I don't care!" She suddenly stopped - and almost caused another accident because the car behind her had to get out of her way before it ran her over. Rome held his breath for a second while Georgie didn't even pay attention to what was going on around her. Georgie was just about to get moving again when Rome grabbed her arm and held her back.
"Seriously, watch out. I'm not joking."

"The drivers aren't blind, Rome, they can see me. And if they don't and accidently hit me I can sue them. And when I sue they will have to deal with a whole bunch of angry lawyers, above all my uncle, and believe me, you don't want to mess with Lewis Gilmore."

Rome looked at her like she was threatening him. "Okay, okay, I just wanted to make sure that..."

"I'm fine!" Georgie teared herself away from him, trying to figure out where the music came from. "You're taller than me. Can you see my car anywhere? It shouldn't be hard to see it."

"Yeah, even blind people can see it...", Rome said, but when he caught Georgie's furious glance he quickly cleared his throat. "Because it's always so...clean and shiny." Suddenly he noticed something flaming pink, and it looked like something sat on the hood of the car. Or someone. Before he could say something Georgie already started running. Rome didn't dare to look when he heard tires squealing and people shouting.

"Elenna Fee!", Georgie shouted across the parking lot. "You better wear some of your new designer clothes or this whole day is going to end bloody."
Although she hadn't seen her friend yet she gave her a warning. Elenna had a better chance in surviving this when she had her new clothes on because Georgie wouldn't dare to mess them up.

Sure enough, and apparently luckily for her, Elenna was wearing what appeared to be new clothes. They must have been new, because she was wearing a dress, and he was pretty sure it was probably easier to get him into a dress than it was to get Lenna in one.

He held Georgie back with a firm grip on her arm, even as he began to lecture Elenna himself: she looked up from her phone, startled, and looking a bit shaken up, but after that cock-block, he could care less, honestly.

"You have some major explaining to do, Summer Roberts. Like, why you pick the lamest fake name in existence, for one thing. It sounds like a porn star. Plus, that dress looks like it's from Gucci, and there's chocolate stains on it already, and the second I let G here go, she's probably going to crucify you. This whole running away thing is not only not cute, it's friggen annoying, so anytime you want to act like you're maybe older than seven, you let me know."

Okay, so maybe he was releasing his pent-up passion as a bit of a bitch-fit. But, seriously. He didn't really care about the shopping, or the dress, or Georgie's stress level, or even that she had interrupted them in the middle of the horizontal fandango. She needed to stop running away to solve all her problems, and this was a lesson she needed to learn, sooner rather than later.

Lenna pushed her hair with new light brown highlights out of her face, her fingernails neatly manicured. She sounded calm. “Summer Roberts is not a porn star. It is the best fake name I can think of. But never mind.”

She pulled the 22 white roses from behind her back and held them towards Georgie.

“I didn’t mean to worry you, it was a game nothing more. Like hide and seek for grownups.”

She smiled shy at Georgie. She wasn’t really worried about Rome being mad at her, he never had been for long.

“I saw the roses and thought you like them. Because I think red roses are, well not suitable and pink roses are not a pure as white and not as amazing as red ones.”

She looked down at the dress seeing the little spot of chocolate on it. “This can be fixed, right? The chocolate gets out when we wash it?” Slowly she slipped down from the hood on her feet in her newly high heels.

“I’m sorry.”

She looked like a real girl, not at all like her normal hunter self; holding a heavy book wearing sloppy jeans, Chucks and a shirt with some offensive text on it. She looked like a 19 year old pretty girl, maybe even a little hot.

This was so unfair! Georgie had spent the entire afternoon thinking about the way she wanted to kill Elenna, had already planned to rip out every single of that messy brown hair on her head...and there she was, undeniably pretty with her new clothes, the new hair style, the nice makeup, even her nails were beautifully manicured. She wore a dress, for God's sake, a real dress!
But it wasn't the clothes and the makeup that stopped Georgie from getting out her gun and hunting her friend across the world. What really touched her were the 22 white roses Elenna had picked for her. It was a pure coincidence that out of all the countless flowers she had picked Georgie's favorite. Everybody would guess her favorites were flowers of the color pink of course, but except her uncle and her aunt nobody knew that her favorite flowers were white roses, just like they had been her mom's favorites. How could Georgie possibly kill Elenna while she had that 'Please-forgive-me'-look on her face and the 22 white roses in her hand?
Georgie tried not to look too touched or emotinal- after all, she didn't want to be part of a high class chick flick movie- and cleared her throat while she took the flowers. She wanted to say something like 'Don't you even think that everything is all right just because you give me flowers' but instead she said what her mother always used to say when she received white flowers, simple and honest: "They are the most beautiful flowers in the world."

Both Elenna and Rome looked obviously surprised because neither one of them had expected her to react that way, and she seemed incredibly calm, almost gentle, while she had said that. Georgie looked at Elenna, one eyebrow raised.
"You have to bring the dress to the dry cleaning, I can't look at those chocolate stains any longer." She scrutinized Elenna. "And next time you get a manicure you should pick a French one." Then a smile appeared on her face. "Thank you for the flowers."

Lenna smiled shy. “You’re welcome. It was a great day I hope you know that?”

Lenna was able to walk in high heels, but not that high ones. So when she walked to Georgie, she more looked like falling than walking. She handed her the flowers and gave her a hug. She looked at Rome wondering if she should hug him too. She took off her shoes and hugged a surprised Rome. “Thanks for coming to my rescue. It was really just a silly game.”

She stepped back and looks on the floor, she never thought that her hiding would escalate that much. She just meant it to be fun, after all they were hunters and did this whole searching thing as living.

Thank the Maker!

The girls had made up, Georgie was in a good mood again, Elenna seemed genuinely repentant, which was a shock--although he wouldn't put it past that little con artist to be faking it--and the sun was shining. No one had actually had a conniption, no one was hurt, no morons had been abducted by witch hunters, and nothing supernatural had taken advantage of the situation.

And he was very likely to get laid tonight.

Rome put his arm around both girls and squeezed them tight, feeling like the luckiest gigolo of all time. "All right, girls, whaddya say we go for a night on the town? Which," he admitted sheepishly, "in southern Kansas means going down the road for ice cream."

Lenna smiled glad that it all turned out well. “I can’t believe you didn’t found me. I was sitting all afternoon in the beauty salon. I mean yes it was a small crappy one but Willow was a doll.”

“You were where?” Georgie looked surprised around Rome at Lenna.

“Yeah I was sitting there and reading Twilight, and just for the record if I ever get my hands on the vamps in there I swear they will be all proper killed and the chick with them She wants’ to be a vampire. I mean what the hell is wrong with her.”

Rome chuckled and Georgie agreed.

The three friends walked down to get ice cream and have a real fun evening with friends that cared for each other. But it all felt as if this was going to end, or did just Lenna feel that way?
