One big important question, how do we want to structure the adventures?

This is because the stories are likely to be very long and convoluted (though not all the time), so having an adventure take place in a single issue (topic) could lead it running to several pages making it bloated and unwieldy.

The other possibility is having the story are take place over several issues if required, each one stopping either at a logical place or a cliff hanger.

To use comic terminology, do we publish single issues or trades? Razz

Thoughts?

I'd guess trades. I imagine them running like classic Doctor Who episodes, where you'll have like 4 "parts" (I guess "issues"?) of the same "story" (ie "trade"), that will end in cliffhangers and possibly even have contained story arcs (like "okay in this issue we need to resolve -- and end with --") or something? Did that make any sense?

That's pretty much it. We'll run the adventures as 'trades' (though we'll call them issues) to start off with and see how it works.

Can I change my vote on this? Haha I guess I just realized that in practice it'd be easier to break up a monster like March of Mephisto into issues. I mean, finish this one out, but after that, maybe go to an "issue" format?

Given most of the storylines will be of MoM length, yeah that's possibly a good call. Sorry everyone, but for superheroes you just need to have long convoluted stories! Razz

No, I'm sorry. I voted for the mammoth-sized stories LOL. Sounds good.
