Jenny leaned against Sally. “I had Dirk eventually and he was always there when they called me names. He did make it better.” She mumbled. “Dirk’s kids are in her age, sort of. Annie is that same age though I think she will get more along with Alex, he is older than her but he is smart too and then there is Scott, he is the oldest. They would be her friends wouldn’t they?” Jenny was hoping that Sally would be alright if her best friend’s kids would be a part of Hettie’s life.
“Dirk is my best friend. I didn’t realize how much I missed having him until I got him again. Just like you. I never looked at a girl and thought she is pretty and I want to spend any time with her and then I ran into you in the temple and I couldn’t stop staring at you.” Jenny smiled shy. “Sorry, this is weird. The more I think about being a mom I think I don’t know what a mom is supposed to do. I can’t remember my mom.”
