"Herbet is well trained and she has regenaraton powers she will be fine. I have pictures on my phone... no idea how to show them to you."

Jenny looked at the table. "My memories make me confused at times, I... I don't have two sets of memories. I have my memories and then what I've been told what really happened. But it is not just my memories, apparently all this technology was never my thing. Phones and stuff they confuse me. You know a hundred years ago you wrote letters on paper, put them in an envelope, put a stamp on and sent them off. It was easy, and now... there is technology in everything."

Jenny needed a moment to hear about the hotel suggestion, she was trying to remember who she got Herbet. She wouldn't but she still tried. "You could always stay with me at... yeah I guess you don't want to do that. This kiddo is food, chicken nuggets, fries, fish fingers, I would say you try everything and we remember what you like and what you don't like."

"I guess... I just... don't want to see her hurt," said Sally. "I'll find the photo's" she offered. "You really... don;t like tech at all... do you?" Sally asked, starting to sound a little concerned.

Hettie on the other hand was unconcerned, starting to wolf down all the food.

"I'm not saying I want her to get hurt. But Herbet is safe. I'll teach her what she can do and can't with him. He is a good little fish." Jenny looked up. "I just don't understand technology at all." She handed Sally her phone. "It has no password that just confused me even more, you just sort of swipe it or something."

Jenny grinned at her daughter. "Yeah a hotel close by sounds good. I have some money too. Though we might need that as a down payment for the house."

Jenny's phone vibrated again, a text message arrived. If you don't answer this time we are sitting in the next plane to look for you! Dad

"He does sound nice," said Sally looking up and smiling. "Hmm... I'll need to teach you how to use it. I'm sure I can!"

She thought for a moment. "I'm sure I can find a way to... acquire a few more funds," she offered, then looked down to the phone. "Uh,... maybe you should make a call..."

"It would be nice if you at least be able to teach me to use my phone." Jenny looked up. "What do you have in mind? I don't wanna tell you what to do and what not just... er we don't want to lose you."

She took the phone and looked confused at it. "Right making a call..." Jenny pressed a few buttons until it seemed to call Mark. "Hey dad I'm fine. Sorry I was out and er... lost track of time. I left my phone in the hotel room." Jenny looked at Hettie and then at Sally, she wanted to tell him about Sally so badly but maybe not over the phone.

"I can! I know it!" smiled Sally, though the smile was a bit forced knowing who was on the other side of the phone. "And you won't lose me. I'm too smart for that!" As Jenny called her father, Sally went over to Hettie. She picked up a napkin from the tray and used it to start to clean her messy face.

Mark snatched up his phone when the call came through. He saw the number and answered, almost yelling into the phone. "JENNY! Where have you been?" He listened incredulously. "You lost track of time for over a day? What's going on? Are you alright?"

Jenny didn't want to talk to long with Mark and make sally feel uncomfortable. "I was having fun dad, that's all. It felt like I got sucked into a magical book and had the time of my life. Really I'm fine."

"Like that would ever happen!" muttered Mark. "Look, I'm glad your okay, but try not to go so long without replying. Even just a text to say your fine is all I need."

"Dad? It's me you are talking to, no idea how to send a text last time I tried I tweeted no idea what that is but I did it." Jenny groaned. "I'm glad I managed to call you. I'm telling you I need an easier phone."

"I don't think it's possible to get an easier phone," replied Mark. "But I understand. Just try and keep in touch, okay? I don;t want to lose you again."

Jenny sighed. "Dad you are not losing me again, and I am not a little kid anymore you got to let me live a little. Also when I come home I wanna talk with you about something. But I tell you then, nothing bad. I promise I will call or text you again before I leave."

"I know Jenny. I know your not a kid anymore. But..." Mark smiled a little. "It's the same with any parent. You'll always be my little girl. And of course, we can talk when you get back." His face fell a little. Mark guessed it was going to be the 'I need my own space' talk. He just wished he'd had more time with her. "Thanks Jenny. Stay safe, okay?"

Jenny smiled. "It is a good talk. Actually really good. I will be safe. I call you tomorrow alright. Love you."

Jeny grinned at Sally, she was scared to tell her dad about it but she was by far too excited not to.

"Love you too Jenny," said Mark, hanging up the phone. He sighed, his eyes traveling to the photo of him and Jenny framed on his desk.

Sally was still trying to clean a fussing Hettie. "I dwun nweed cweaning Mwommy!" she insisted.

Jenny smiled when she looked at the exactly same photo Mark was looking at half way across the world. It was her phone background and even though she could not remember this moment she knew how much her dad loves this photo of the two of them. She looked up still smiling.

"I think you are right Hettie, you are perfectly clean, I mean who doesn't like to wear a bit of ketchup." Jenny dipped her finger in Hettie's ketchup puddle on her plate and drew a heart on Sally's cheek. "Lovely, what do you think Hettie?"

Hettie giggled happily.

"You two are impossible!" said Sally with a theatrical sigh.

"We are impossibly amazing. Don't let anyone tell you differently Hettie." Jenny kissed first the little girl and then Sally's hearted cheek. "Incredible tasty, I do have other ideas how to make you even tastier... caramel sauce, whipping cream, chocolate sauce..."

She took some food herself and then said louder again. "I think when we are all rested tomorrow we need to make a family photo. I need another background for my phone Dirk said I can make it change automatically."

Sally started to blush again, very deep again, almost unable to reply.

"Phwoto?" aske Hettie. "Wha's phwoto? An' wha's thwa phwone thwingy?"

Jenny laughed seeing Sally blushing. "I take that for a yes."

She picked up her phone and showed it to Hettie. "This is a phone and it has photos on it. You will like it knowing you have your Mommy's brain. Ad Your Mommy said she can find the photos on it. It's like a magic box some say. Once you are used to them Mama needs you to do things with her phone."

Hettie gave an awed 'Ooooh!' and took the phone, starting to play withe the buttons on it. Sally came over. "Here, let me show you how to play a game on it."

"Wait there are games on my phone?" Jenny starred with big eyes at her Sally.

"Of course! There's games on every phone," smiled Sally with a wink. "Wow, the ones on this phone are really retro. See Hettie, you use the catapult to fire these birds to stop the evil pigs!"

"How am I suposed to know that? The phone never said it has games." Jenny said sulkingly. Jenny watched Sally teach Hettie use the phone and it did not surprise her that Hettie picked it up in about two seconds. "Don't put all this technology into our house I will lock myself out or not be able to get any food from the kitchen."

With Hettie distracted Sally went over to Jenny and hugged her tight. "Don't worry Jenny! You're not supposed to worry! You're the impulsive brave one!" She moved her face closer, kissing Jenny warmly.

Oh I am impulsive and bravely throw at least once a week my phone against the wall." Jenny grinned and kissed Sally back. "When do three year olds go to bed? Also just a thought but maybe any way to stop her from accidently calling someone, like er my dad? That would be weird."
