Jenny shoved her elbow into Sally's side. She tried and didn't want them to get into trouble.

"Oh that. We are fine. Not even a scratch. But thank you for your concern. I guess those attacks are getting out of hand. Say how did it start again. Is no one there to keep them under control?"

Sally coughed, managing to keep a straight face.

"No one is sure how it starts, but I have learned this. Those raiding my lands come from your kingdom. And those attacking you..." a look of anger crossed his face. "Came from my own lands."

"I see. It looks like organised crime. Were you able to catch any of those raiders? We do not blame you for the attacks on our Kingdom, just like you don't blame us right?" This was so weird having to sound as if she knew what she was talking about and as if she could make a plan how to fix the problem. "Can we lead either of them in a trap?"

"Of course I do not blame you. Quetzalcoatl may believe I am a fool, but I know when I'm being played. So far we haven't been able to capture any but," he grinned. "A trap was exactly what I had in mind."

Jenny smiled. "I like the way you think. Is there anything from us you need."

Jenny's eyes narrowed when she saw her daughter not to far away from them. Jenny didn't want the girl having to hear of the trouble. She didn't want her to get scared.

"There is a small fortified town near our boarder. The raiders are moving closer and closer, and I feel it is only a matter of time before thy strike. However, with the towns fortifications, It would be the strongest place to launch an attack from."

Jenny nodded. "That sounds like a good plan do you need help with that? I'd love to get my hands on those raiders."

Jenny send one of her for balls towards her daughter writing worth it in the ground. 'We play in a little bit. '

"I have come to request your help, in person. I feel it may be required," said the Great Khan.

Sekhmet looked up and smiled at Jenny.

"And help you will get. Take as many men our captain says we can spare. I want these raiders captured. For the safety of our children." Jenny waved her hand and the fire ball with her daughter exploded into million teeny tiny sparks that showered Sekhmet like gold dust. Her attention wasn't on the Great Kahn anymore, but not because she was rude but out of love for her daughter which was written all over her.

Sekhmet gave another happy cry and started dancing under the gold dust. Sally couldn't help but have her gaze drawn towards the girl.

The Great Khan watched the three, the cleared his throat, a little irritated. "I was meaning the two of you joining me in the town. Soldiers are all well and good, but nothing can withstand the Great Powers."

Jenny sighed. That was exactly how she understood his request and a part of wanted nothing more. She was still looking at Sekhmet when she had thought that scared her.

'Dammit it would be easier if Sally could read minds.'

"You are asking for a lot. This plan of your's better be good if you want us to participate in it."

"Of course my plan will work," insisted the Great Khan. "But even if I had no plan, you should be considering the consequences of this. The peace between the Great Powers has lasted many a long year, and now something is seeking to disturb this peace, by setting us against each other. Either one of the other Great Powers has turned against our accords, or some unknown force from outside is trying to divide us. Neither bode well for any of us."

"I guess you are right. We need to get to the bottom of this.When did you hope we would leave to go with you? We have to make arrangements for our daughter to be looked after." Jenny looked at Sally. "You do agree to help him right?"

"I am ready to leave when you are. I shall wait for you in the courtyard." The Great Khan bowed his head and, then turned and walked off.

"I.. guess I do agree," said Sally. "Besides, this might be how the story is meant to go. Though... you might not like this, but... we should take Sekhmet with us."

Jenny sighed. "No I don't like it but I was thinking about that too. We need to make sure that she is safe when she is with us, we can't watch her if we try to catch raiders. Hey home many of those bolts do you have left? I have to admit since Sekhmet said she has healing powers, I do worry the most about you. I can't loose you!" Jenny kissed Sally gentle to make a point. "Maybe our little daughter build some other very interesting things that could help?"

"I'll think of something to keep her safe, don't worry," said Sally. "I've... got a fair few bolts left. Only used a couple of the explosive ones." Sally happily kissed back. "You won't lose me. I... I've something worth sticking around for now," she insited. "But... Sekhmet's smart, but I don;t think she's 'handy gadget smart' yet."

“You better stick around or I find a demon to bring you back!” Jenny sighed deeply. “So much for a relaxing day as queens. I guess we get her and tell her that she is coming with us on an adventure. When will she be handy gadget smart? I know I was in her age… yeah okay I had my powers not at all under control… or I think I didn’t…” Jenny trailed off, it annoyed her that she didn’t know her real past. “You do realise that this adventure mean in a few hours I am again just dressed in my underwear.”

"Let's... try to leave demons out of this," said Sally, sounding skeptical. "Well, it was fun while it lasted! And, I was building stuff at her age, but I also had a few thousand years of technological advances." Another blush creeped across her face at the thought of the half naked Jenny.

"Why am I not surprised that you were already bulding stuff. I blew up a lot in that age. I guess that is sort of true in my memories. Dirk said I had my fire barely under control. Anyway, lets get our daughter. I bet she is thrilled to tag along." Jenny got up and looked around for Sekhmet, when she noticed something odd. It actually made her giggle. "This is kind of cool. I know where she is, there behind those bushes... I can feel her fire, just like I always know where my fire balls are." Jenny created another little fire spirit and sent it off to get Sekhmet. It didn't surprise Jenny when a widely grinning Sekhmet followed the spirtit to her mothers. "Hey Kiddo, how about an adventure. Your Mommy and I got to hunt down those raiders and we think you would be saver coming with us."

"I guess we both had our calling in life!" giggled Sally, giving Jenny a playful poke. "That's... pretty handy actually... wait!" Sally's face suddenly screwed up in thought. "Can you usually sense any fire, or just your own?"

Sekhmet looked up her her parents wide eyed. "Really? You mean it? I get to go on an adventure with you? Outside the city?"

"No I never sense fire, but I know where my fire is and I guess my daughters." Jenny smiled at the little girl.

"Yep outside the city and all. But I need you to listen without questioning, when we say duck you duck and when we say run you run and so on. Got it?"

Sally kept on with the thoughtful look, her mind raceing. She knew that somehow this would be key to bring Sekhmet into the real world. The question was how?

"Got it Mama! But why?" asked Sekhmet.

One of the servents came over. "Shall we being preperations for your trip?"

"Because I say so."

Jenny looked at the servant. " Yes please, the usual things we take on a trip and anything Sekhmet wants."

She took Sally's hand and whispered. "What are you thinking?"

"Awww, okay Mama!" said Sekhmet.

"Are you.. perparing for battle?" asked the servant.

"I wanna bring all my toys!" said Sekhmet to the servant.

"I think I... I might have an idea how to take Sekhmet... home," whispered Sally.

"Yes we are. No you can't take all your toys just some."

Jenny looked up. "You do how?"
