Aly stood there frozen. Ghosts weren't real...the same as werewolves weren't real.

"Allison, behind you!" Caleb bellowed and lunged, but he was too late.

Aly looked down at her chest, the semi coherent specter-hand billowing out of her chest. She couldn't breathe the pain was so great--almost as if it was tearing her heart...

The room shook with such force that even Caleb was sent to the floor. She blinked several times unable to move. The last thing she saw was a little girl in white standing in front of her.

Was this what dying felt like?

Note: None of the hunters can see the girl. They just see a white blur and don't know it's a ghost.

Nick had the weird feeling that he was invisible again. And the little girl just stood the in front of Aly. Nick tried to pull out her heart, but he found himself unable to grab hold of anything solid. The little girl glared at him and a child's rhyme played in his mind. The more he tried to hurt her the more he was pushed out of her body until he was a few feet away . He tired to get to the unconscious Aly, she was in his way. Aly liked his little Elle way too much. She was on the best way to become a big sister and for that she had to suffer. The little girl didn't said anything and she didn't do anything but Nick was unable to hurt Aly.

“Screw you.”

Nick gave up on Allison and turned back to the others.

“Do you really think the bit of rock salt hurts me?”

Nick reappeared behind Georgie and pushed her against Morrigan so that both girls fell. He zapped himself next to Caleb and grabbed the gun, so that from every opening ectoplasm dripped. The next zap brought him back to Rome.

“She hates you, Romulus Remington. She doesn’t need a new big brother she has me!”

Nick looked right at Rome, he didn’t show a sign of fear even though Rome just reached for his gun.

“Oh you little sucker, you never saw her anyway. Did you really think ignoring her would help and then suddenly you wanna replace me? I changed her friggin diapers, I sung her lullabies when she had nightmares, I dried her tears when you abandoned her with random chicks along the road. She is a little girl and she need her big brother, me. You use her for your little games. She is your encyclopaedia and then you never even listen to her. How can you put all those insane ideas in her little head? She needs someone stable, some she can count on. Gee’z after she lived through her biggest nightmares, she shot herself, she shot herself do you hear me? She lost everyone and thought she would lose you too, and here you are when she needed a loving person the most you had nothing better to do as sleep with the next available girl you find. She needed someone, and you weren’t there. You are never there when someone needs to try her tears. But I was there; I am always there for her. I can’t be replaced, ever. Do you hear me douchbag? I am not replaceable; I’ll be forever in her live. We will be together, again. And nothing can put us apart. Nothing. You lost and I won!”

The light in the room flickered; just before each light bulb explode. The only light source was Nick who was glowing light blue.

"She hates you, Romulus Remington."

Rome was offended.

"She doesn’t need a new big brother she has me!"

Hurt, even.

"She needs someone stable, some she can count on."

Sure, that was a pretty fair characterization of him--womanizing, selfish, and manipulative--but he had worked hard to become so! But none of that applied to Elenna. Or any of his friends. And mentioning how Elenna was going to leave him just like Rawson had done was just low. Sure, play on his insecurities. Could ghosts read minds?

"I am not replaceable; I’ll be forever in her life!"

Something else really bugged him about this speech. He'd heard it from angry boyfriends, so he recognized the type immediately: jealous. Okay, yes, he recognized that there was something wrong about banging another man's woman, and he tried to avoid it whenever possible, but then there was the unhealthy, possessive, controlling, jealous, macho jackwagon situation. Where, okay, maybe Rome wasn't her best choice of the night, but she definitely shouldn't be sticking with this asshole.

"And nothing can put us apart. Nothing!"

It made him defensive. There were very few things that made Rome want to actually fight for a lady's honor. This was one of them.

"You lost and I won!" Nick shrieked, his blue light pulsing with power.

Rome chuckled. "Not this round," he said, and he fired the shotgun point-blank into Nick's face.

"Not this round." Rome chuckled, but he looked with cold eyes at Nick. This time it hurt being shot. But it was not the shot itself that hurts him. It was more the fact that this douchbag was the perfect big brother material.

F*ck Elle where are you. We need to leave now.

Nick vanished and returned to the room, but this time he stayed invisible. The humans found some unbroken lamps and turned them on.

“Where did he go? Is he dead?” Georgie looked from corner to corner.

“No he's still here, he's just waiting,” said Rome, reloading his shotgun.

Nick had time and he would wait. She would come back to him. She always came back to him. No matter what she did, she needed him.

It was dark outside and they all waited for just one person. But they had different reason to wait for her. He suddenly grinned, the butterfly in his stomach were back. He got pulled away from the hotel.

“Nick?”

Warm

Her chest hurt. Why did her chest hurt?

She took in a breath and opened her eyes slowly. She was in someone's arms and he was speaking to her.

"Allison...come back, Aly."

She shifted in his arms as his face came into focus.

"Cal? What happened?" Her head pounded. She looked up at him, fragile again for a moment. Then she clutched at her chest. "Oh god...Cal...it...it tried to take my heart!"

She cried into his chest, forgetting about everything that had happened in the last few days and just needing comfort. This was insane. She'd been attacked before in the line of duty--even spent an hour fearing for her life in the hands of a serial killer--but this...this was just too much. A ghost?! She'd almost been killed by a dead person. Could life get any more screwed up?

Rome took a knee at Aly's side. "It's okay, Al," he whispered. He touched her arm briefly to give comfort, but Cal bristled like a suspicious guard dog, so Rome backed off to rummage around for more rock salt shells for the shotgun.

"Okay, we need to find Lenna now, and not just for the...wolf thing," he gulped appropriately, and then continued, thinking out loud as he geared up: silver and rock salt. "Her brother was cremated, I know that for sure, so we have to figure out what else might be tying him to this world. Might be in these curse boxes, here, I know she keeps pictures and stuff in them, but I dunno. God, I hope he didn't, like, give her a kidney or something..."

He looked back at Aly. She seemed better. No one else seemed horribly injured from the fight.

"Maybe he's haunting her? And that's why she's acting weird?" Anything to get them off this werewolf kick...

Elenna being haunted by her ghost brother? Of course, that made sense. Although being haunted by a ghost was not what one could call the greatest experience in life, it was still better than the possibility of Elenna being a werewolf they had to kill. If Lenna was haunted, they wouldn't harm her...well, not physically.
She must feel awful...having her brother around like he never left...

Georgie looked at Rome. "You mentioned she keeps pictures of her brother?"

"Yeah, as far as I know."

"We'll have to burn everything related to her brother, although she would probably kill us for burning her cherished mementos."

"Most importantly, we need to find her. It doesn't matter whether that thing is her brother or not, ghosts are unpredictable."

It was later as she had expected it would be when she sneaked around the room, to collect her clothes and got dressed. When she found half falling out of Adam’s jeans pocket a silver rosary. She turned around and saw the tattoo.

“Sh*t. He’s a hunter.”

Of course the guy I hook up with is a hunter, what an irony. Next time I pay more attention to the guy who is with me in bed, to see any Anti-possession tattoos from the beginning.
Lenna picked up the last of her things and wrote a note.

It’s better when I just go. Happy hunting.

Lenna called outside a cab and went back to her motel. As soon she was sitting safe in that cab she started giggling and just couldn’t stop. This whole situation was surreal.

Nick?
“So you are back? Where have you been?”
That is none of your friggin business.
“Elle I’m not the one you are fighting against.”
I know but this guy was just a once in a lifetime so relax.

Lenna felt Nick go for a moment, but it wasn’t long enough to worry her. She leaned back in the cab and calmed down a bit.

"Ghosts are unpredictable..." Georgie said, producing an EMF reader. She peered at the instrument, and then shook it. "Well, that's odd," she said.

"Here, lemme take a look," Rome offered, taking the equipment and sitting cross-legged on the ground as the others continued talking above him. He tried resetting it, found brand-new batteries and replaced them, and checked the wiring. It all looked good. Which sucked, because it wasn't working.

"Thing's fried," Rome told Georgie. He paused in thought: a rare enough occurrence for him. "You know, the EMFs the Mustang died, too." He frowned. "And we need one." Thinking really hurt after a barfight and a ghostfight. "I wonder if there's an app for that."

A few scoffs.

"Yeah, it's part of the new Hunter line of applications for the iPhone which isn't even available to the general public yet," he sneered sarcastically, "come on, you guys, get with the times." Rome produced his phone and started fussing with it. He could get the phone to react to fluctuations in electromagnetic field, though it'd probably kill his battery life. Or, you know, his phone, but whatever. After some reprogramming, he gave the "EMF Reader" its own special ringtone. Then again, the ghost could just as easily fry his phone, too. What kind of powerful ghost could fry electronics?

She was still tipsy when she unlocked the door to her room; the door was locked wasn’t it? She whispered to herself.

“Shush Lennie, just go to bed and Romey will never know how long I have been out. Luckily it looks like he isn’t awake anymore.”

She switched the light on and saw that all her stuff was gone.

"What the hell is going on here?"

Lenna looked around her room and discovered all the stuff is gone.

“You don’t need it anyway.”

“Where is my stuff?”

Lenna stumbled over a chair. What was going on here? She looked around and saw the connection door to Rome’s room was open. She walked to it and didn’t look like the friendly girl she normally was.

“Romulus Remington, what the f*ck is going on? Where is all mu stuff? I told you not to touch my boxes. They are personal and private.”

Lenna looked around Rome’s room and was surprised to found the whole team in it, they were all there except Rome.

“What are you all doing here? Where is Rome?”

Rome felt invisible. Or Elenna was just being a bitch and ignoring him still. Which, whatever, he had gotten over her acting like an infant. The important thing right now was that no one shot her.

He stood up, slipping his Desert Eagle into the back of his waistband, covertly enough that Elenna wouldn't see, but leaving it sticking out of his shirt so that Caleb could see.

"Um, hey, Lennie, baby, can I talk to you for a second, chica?"

Elenna looked right through him: "What the hell did you guys do with my stuff?"

Rome grabbed her by the shoulders. "Elenna, listen to me, stop screwing around! There's a werewolf running around in this town and you could have gotten--"

But as soon as Rome touched her, Elenna did something very strange. She shrieked like he had put an ice cube down her underwear and jumped about five feet in the air and nine feet backwards. And she just kept screaming.

Rome stood paralyzed, confused, and, though he wouldn't admit it, hurt.

And then his phone started playing the Twilight Zone theme.

Caleb

Caleb sat cleaning the ectoplasm from his Glock when Rome and Elenna had their little throwdown. Rome's hand cannon was comfortingly close at hand, and Caleb's two backup pistols (his Glock 20 and 23) sat on the table next to his Atchisson shotgun. Not that he was going to use the shotgun on Elenna even if she was the Werewolf. Caleb raised his head from his task and caught Rome and Elenna's attention with a sharp whistle.

"Easy there you two. Let her sleep it off Rome. We can see if she changes her tune after a little lie-down," Caleb interjected, putting emphasis on the finish - it'd be confusing to bystanders and maybe Elenna too, but Rome and the others should get the message.

Caleb returned to cleaning his Glock's barrel, sighing heavily at the abuse it had suffered because of one pissed-off ghost.

((OOC This time it's the werewolf, but remember it can't be shot with silver because it is just a ghost.))

Something grabbed her by the shoulder, but there was nothing. Lenna screamed like a little girl. Something wasn’t right here. Somewhere in the background the Twilight Zone theme started to play.

“Easy there you two...” Lenna didn’t pay attention to the rest what Caleb said.

He said two, but it’s just me.

“What’s going on here? Why two? Something is in this room it touched me. Guys why are you all looking at me so weird? Where is Rome?”

“They have an evil thought Elle. They think you did something awful. Don’t trust them!”
But they are my friends aren’t they?
“You think they are really your friends? I mean Rome was the first who left you. Look around he isn’t here anymore.”
But... how could he just leave me?

They all seemed to wait that something would happen, or was she just half dressed?

“Stop looking at me. What is happening here? I don’t understand.”

Georgie walked to her, and spoke as if Lenna was holding a gun. “Lenna listen calm down everything is alright. It is late we should all go to bed, okay?”

“I am not crazy, stop acting like I’m insane. Something is going on. And when it is that late, why are you all still up, why are you all in Rome’s room and where the hell is Rome?”

Lenna walked away from Georgie.

“Run!”

“I don’t understand what is happening to me? I... I can’t stay here. I have to go. Now. I’m sorry.”

“Lenna you can’t go.” Said Georgie loud.

Lenna turned around when something grabbed her hand, for a moment she recognized the touch but then her fear won. She shrieked and stumbled to the door. “Let me go, I can’t stay here. I don’t wanna stay here.”

Suddenly the TV switched on to the local news. The newscaster was standing in front of a cheap motel outside town.

“... And another victim is found. The serial killer killed this man in his motel room. Like all other victims is the heart missing. What sick person kills innocent people in our town?...”
Lenna looked terrified at the TV. “Adam?”

Something grabbed her shoulders and turned her around, and for a brief moment a worried face was flashing in front of her.

Rome?
“He is gone, and you need to go as well. The guy you had tonight is dead and they think you killed him. GO!”

Lenna pushed whatever was holding her, just in time to see this thing appear. It had shaggy light brown hair; animal eyes, long claws and it attack everyone in the room. First it knocked the table Caleb was sitting at over and then it ran into Georgie so she fell...

Lenna used this moment to take a sprint out of the room, back on the parking lot and into the Mustang. The car turned on without her doing and drove off in the night.

Everybody in the room directed their gun towards the creature in the room and shot, but strangely the silver bullets didn't work on him. The moment Elenna stormed out of the room the creature disappeared.
"What the hell was that?" Georgina turned towards the others.

"Obviously we're not dealing with a werewolf here", Caleb responded. "The silver didn't work."

"And why did Elenna pretend she couldn't see Rome?"
Now everybody looked at Rome who seemed distraughted.

"Maybe she wasn't able to see him..." Aly said with a serious voice.

"What do you mean?" Georgie looked puzzled. "How could she not have seen him?"

"I don't know...something's strange is going on here."

"We have to get Elenna, now!" Rome held on tight to his gun. "Where the hell did she go?"

"And what was that thing if it wasn't a werewolf?" Georgie wanted to know.

"Whatever the hell that thing is, it's not our normal supernatural," Morrigan realized. "Silver should have worked on that wolf, and it didn't even faze it."

She put her gun down and started pacing. "It that thing isn't following normal rules, that explains why its been able to kill so efficiently. I just couldn't believe Shane died without even hitting that thing. I mean- what kind of hunter doesn't at least get one good shot in before getting killed? Forensics reported there wasn't even a trace of non-vic blood at the scene. What if this thing can't be wounded?"

Okay, New Girl may be super-hot, and she may very well be a brainiac, but she had her priorities all wrong. What the hell did it matter if the Loch Ness Monster just appeared and disappeared before their eyes? Elenna had just appeared and disappeared!

Well, okay, not strictly disappeared. Which was good, because he was starting to worry.

"What are you all doing?!" Rome shouted. "Standing around? She was right here!" He lunged for Georgie's arm and dragged her outside. She was strong, but his will was stronger. He snagged his shotgun up again as they ran down the stairs together.

"Give me your keys," he ordered.

"What? Rome, I'm not letting you--"

"Georgie." He didn't have time for this, but he stopped her on the stairs and fixed her with pleading eyes: "You want to find her too, don't you?"

She nodded.

"Okay," he said, moved his hand down his arm to hold her hand, and together they continued down the stairs.

By now a few of the others had gathered above them. "I'd burn those curse boxes if I were you!" he shouted up at them. "Anyone who wants to come along can join us or follow."

Outside in the parking lot, Rome was surveying the ground, and he and Georgie had a moment alone as she rummaged through her enormous purse for her keys.

"There. She went this way," Rome said, pointing to the black marks on the pavement. They smelled fresh enough. "That's back to the main road."

"Okay, but there's no way I'm letting you drive my baby, Rome."

Rome pleaded with her again: "Georgie, I have to drive."

She put her hand on her hip and popped her bubble gum in annoyance. "Give me one good reason."

Rome grinned as he opened the passenger side door. He flipped out both his weapons and, with cowboy-like finesse, spun them and held them out for her, handle-first. "You're a better shot."

Georgina was not the kind of person who fell for puppy-eyes and sugar-sweet compliments, but Rome most certainly won her over for handing her the weapons.
"If I see one scratch on her..." Georgie said while sitting on the passenger seat, "you will have to deal with a group of the meanest, most merciless lawyers in the entire New England area, got it?"

Rome chuckled while he turned on the engine and and pressed the accelerator.

"I'm serious!" Georgie grabbed her shiny pink cell phone. "I've got at least 15 of these lawyers in here."

"Wow, really? Didn't think you were the type to go after old men in suits. Looks like I need to change my image." He winked.

Georgie pulled a face. "These are friends of my uncle who happens to be a public prosecutor in Boston, which means, Rome, that you better watch my baby or I'm going to sic the lawyers on you."

"Alright, I know." He grinned. "But I have to drive fast if we want to find Elenna."

She nodded. "Go ahead." She was used to fast driving, and since they needed to find Elenna as quickly as possible she didn't mind him driving like maniac as long as her car stayed undamaged. But it was not the car she worried about now, it was her friend. She knew Elenna was in danger, and just the thought of her driving while Lenna was drunk gave her chills. And what was that thing that followed Lenna?

“Nick are you here?”

“Of course baby, I’m here. Who do you think is driving?”

Lenna looked around and realized she wasn’t sitting on the driver’s seat. But someone was, someone she missed so much for years.

“Nick you are here. I thought I was going insane.”

Nick grinned. “You are not more insane than you already were. So let’s see how much you took care of my baby. We need to disappear and to get rid of these dangerous people. They are telling you one lie after the other. You do know there are no such things as monsters, right?”

Lenna looked hurt; he was talking about her friends, wasn’t he?

“They are lying? But it all seemed so real. Wait you were dead?”

“If I’m dead why could you always talk to me?”

Lenna smiled. “All these monsters, the ghost, werewolf and so on they are just fairy tales?”

“Yup. I told you, they are dangerous lunatics.”

“And they don’t care at all for me. Rome just left. He didn’t even say goodbye, he left like Raws always does. You better hurry, I know them just for two weeks tops but they are like all the others. They're gonna look for me.”

Nick turned around the next and drove in high speed down the street.

It was a good thing Elenna was driving like a crazy person, because she left a trail to follow. Peel-out marks on the asphalt when she made a sharp turn, clipped fences and side mirrors from cars she passed by. One or two helpful bystanders told them "she went that way." She was definitely driving like a drunk, or someone who hadn't driven in years and had clearly forgotten basic things like, oh, not trying to take turns at 50 miles an hour.

Or someone who was trying to get herself killed, but Rome tried not to think about this.

Rome liked driving. And he loved driving fast. It was more a game to him, so he wasn't much good over the long haul of driving cross-country--not to mention what would happen if he had a vision while driving, so his companions usually kept him from driving if they could in case of this event--but he did enjoy it.

And as much as he wasn't ever going to admit it out loud, the flaming pink Audi--which he was sure lowered his testosterone levels just by sitting in it, much less controlling the damn thing--handled like a dream.

"Aw, come on," he chuckled to Georgie, "thing could use a few battle-scars to look more..." he trailed off, as he had never before seen Georgie look actually murderous. "Okay, okay, just kidding. Get your phone out, try calling her. Maybe she--whoa!"

Rome was, actually, a good driver, despite no one ever letting him drive. Case in point: the black Mustang literally pounced on them from a hidden sideroad to the left, causing Rome to brake, spin, and make good use of the shoulder, all without doing anything but wreaking havoc on her brakes, before taking back off in the direction Elenna had turned.

"Did you see that?" Georgie shrieked, "There wasn't anyone behind the wheel!" Just as Rome said, "Who was that asshole driving her car?"

Rome paused, tried again: "Wait, what? You didn't see him? Crap, why am I the only one who can see him?"

"You're the only one who can see him?" Georgie looked confused. "Who? There's nobody in the car except Lenna. And she's not driving!"

"No, there's a guy behind the wheel. Don't tell me I'm going crazy here! It's Nick, he's driving the car! Try to call her!"

Georgie dialed Elenna's number and waited for a response. "Common, Lenna..." But her friend didn't pick up. "Crap!"

Rome speeded up, but the Mustang was faster. "Who the hell is driving the car? I feel like there's a freaking Nascar driver in front of us."

Georgina bit her lip. Hold on, Lenna. We're going to get you. Somehow...

Nick saw the pink Audi in the rear-view mirror and of course the douchbag was driving.

“Elle? Seatbelt, now!”

Lenna didn’t question his order, she just followed it.

“Do you remember your lullaby, Elle?”

“Yes why?”

“I want you to sing it and don’t pay any attention to anything around you. I have everything under control!”

Lenna looked at Nick and started singing.
Something changed about Lenna, her eyes got heavy, they were half closed, she looked so small and vulnerable, but she kept singing.
Nick first pushed the Mustang to his limit, just to slow down again so that the douchbag could come closer, Nick didn’t want to lose him not yet. It worked Rome was close on Nick’s tail, but Nick had the advantage of knowing the town. With a spectacular turn he disappeared in a small side street. He took a short cut and just came back to the main road to pass it in time to touch the back of the pink car. The pink car was spinning around, but the Mustang kept driving. Lenna kept singing even though she hit her head because of the impact at the car dashboard. She curled herself in a ball while the cut on her forehead was steadily bleeding.

“It will be soon over, Elle. Don’t worry no one will separate us ever again.”

Lenna didn’t respond. She sung and sung, as if this song kept her alive or maybe it kept Nick with her. She didn’t want to lose him again. Everyone she loved left her. But Nick came back, and it was so much easier to love Nick then Rome. She had to share Rome, but all Nick wanted was to be alone with her. All she wanted was a big brother who looked out for her, who told her what was save to do, what was right, when she did something good, someone who yells at her when she does something stupid, just a big brother she could love and who would love her the same way. She thought Rome was this, but he left and Nick came back.

That makes Nick the better big brother, right?

Morrigan wasn't too thrilled about going through Shane's items so soon after getting them back from the police, but she REALLY needed his keys. She wasn't going to wait around for Aly and Caleb when there was some seriously dangerous action going on.

Keys...come on where's his damn car key

She finally found the key for Shane's dark blue Volkswagon Jetta and headed out into the lot, not giving much thought to what she'd do when she finally found herself knee deep in the car chase.

She threw the car into reverse and started driving, not an easy thing considering she hadn't driven stick in a while. The whole car smelled like Shane's cologne- which didn't help things much.

You'd think I would have been smart enough to get someone's phone number before storming out she realized as she merged onto the main road. I don't even know where I'm going.

Car Chase Music:

Post Goes Here:

Caleb calmly finished cleaning and reassembling his Glock, loading it up with silver bullets, chambering a round in each one and performing a well-practiced one-handed brass check before holstering them and slipping his shotgun into the bag he carried his other weapons in. He turned his knife over and over in his hands, spinning the heavy blade through his fingers expertly before sheathing it in the small of his back.

"So ..." Caleb sighed, "I guess it's time to rock and roll. Let's see how this cookie crumbles."

Caleb led the way out of the room, nearly taking the door off the hinges as Aly and Lily rushed out after him. He was on a mission now - figure out exactly what the s*** was going on, whether or not Elenna was a Werewolf and how to restrain her without blowing her limbs off. He'd never tested it on himself, but he was pretty sure things that were fatal to humans were fatal to Lycanthropy sufferers when not transformed.

Ignoring the shocked expressions of the people he shoved past in the hallways and the shocked yelps of any he shoved to the ground, Caleb stormed out, unlocking his truck from as far away as possible before making a run for the driver's door.

"Asses in seats before I turn the engine over!" Caleb barked at Aly and Lily, who got the message and dogpiled into the vehicle just as he shoved the key into the ignition and turned like he was trying to break the key off.

The massive truck roared into life, music blaring over the speakers as he slammed it into first and floored the accelerator. He tore out into traffic, almost wiping out a mid-sized sedan as he followed the skid marks and wrecked wing mirrors Elenna had left behind. He had his eyes out for the Mustang and Georgina's Audi, only noting that the Jetta up ahead was on their side when he saw the new girl's face in the rear-view mirror.

The car was spinning out of control, painting doughnuts across a conveniently empty parking lot. "Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t! Sh*t!" Rome screamed, while beside him, Georgie just screamed. On the one hand, it was kind of exciting. He'd never been in a car that was spinning out of control, and man! what a rush! On the other, "Not my fault! Not my fault!" he bellowed, so that Georgie wouldn't shoot his nuts off before he could get the car back under control--or, you know, ever, preferably.

Rome's elbow bumped the radio, which was quite loud, as if by fate, on one of his favorite songs:

Rome turned the wheel back over, shifted down to first gear, and alternated pumping the breaks and tapping the gas before finally, the squealing of balding tires turned into forward momentum.

"Haha!" he yelled, like Lando Calrissian escaping the Second Death Star, and feeling just as lucky. Rome wasn't sure how he could feel quite this badass driving a pink car. The Mustang was small and far away, but even further beyond, he saw two more cars speeding along and looking helpful, and one was definitely Cal's Fordasaurus.

"Okay, Georgie, looks like the cavalry's arrived!" he grinned, climbing up the gears as fast as the Audi would allow--which, okay, was pretty damn fast.

But the Mustang was wild, the driving choppy, and worry killed even that adrenaline high.

"Dammit," Rome swore. "This could get dangerous fast if that psychotic ghost is driving. Georgie, we need a new plan before Nick pulls something else to get Elenna killed! Get the others on the horn. We need a plan!"

"Hey! What the hell are you guys trying to wipe me off the road?" Morrigan yelled as Caleb almost took off her bumper.

Lily looked out of the truck nervously and smiled as Caleb put his foot to the gas again.

Morrigan tore after them, seeing Georgie and Rome up ahead. She was going to get that wolf one way or another.
